College Profile

Our Story

Shree Saraswati College of Nursing is a pioneering institution established under the Sindhudurg Education Society, founded by Hon. Shri Vasant Sawant, with a vision to bring quality nursing education to rural and coastal communities.

Located in the serene and naturally beautiful surroundings of Tondavali, Sindhudurg, our college is designed specifically to serve students from rural, tribal, and remote areas who aspire to build careers in healthcare.

The college operates from an independent three-storied building constructed according to Indian Nursing Council (INC) norms, providing an ideal environment for comprehensive nursing education with modern facilities and dedicated spaces for practical training.

We are approved by the Indian Nursing Council and Maharashtra Nursing Council, ensuring that our programmes meet national standards of nursing education and prepare our students for registration as professional nurses.

The college offers three programmes— Basic B.Sc. Nursing (4 years), General Nursing & Midwifery – GNM (3 years), and Revised Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery – RANM (2 years)—with a focus on producing skilled, compassionate, and ethical nursing professionals.
